Beautiful Table Settings
There’s something quietly powerful about a beautifully set table. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or complicated—it just has to feel intentional. A thoughtfully arranged table invites people in, slows things down, and turns even an ordinary meal into something worth remembering.

Here in Central Alabama, where hospitality runs deep and gathering around the table is part of our rhythm, I’ve found so much joy in creating table settings that reflect the season, the mood, and the people I’m sharing it with. That’s exactly what Central Alabama BTS—Beautiful Table Settings is all about: inspiration pulled from real tables, real moments, and real life.
Visionary, May Eason
This community wouldn’t exist without the vision of May Rudolphi Eason of Wetumpka, Alabama, who founded the Alabama BTS group. With a passion for bringing people together and an eye for the beauty in everyday details, she created a space where others could share their tables, ideas, and creativity. What started as a simple Facebook page has grown into a welcoming community rooted in encouragement, inspiration, and a shared love of gathering well.
Layers of Beauty and Fellowship
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and a little bit special.
Sometimes that looks like a simple weeknight table—linen napkins, a few fresh flowers from the yard, and dishes that don’t quite match but somehow work together anyway. Other times, it’s a more layered look for holidays or gatherings: textures, candles, small details that make guests pause and say, “This is beautiful.”
But no matter the occasion, the heart behind it stays the same: creating a place where people feel seen, comfortable, and connected.
With Central Alabama BTS, I love getting ideas from our members that are approachable and adaptable—things I can recreate with what I already have, or tweak to fit my own style. Maybe it’s a new way to fold a napkin, a color combination I hadn’t thought of, or a reminder that even the smallest details can make a big impact. Our members provide all of that.
Beautiful Table Settings in Central-AL: A Year in Review
We began our chapter in April of 2025 and have had lots of fun gatherings every month. We meet the third Saturday of each month with a different hostess planning our event. We’ve met in restaurants with an Easter theme, tables set with fresh lemons in Liberty Park that transported you to the Amalfi coast of Italy, lunch in the historic cafe where the movie Fried Green Tomatoes was set, brunch in Chelsea, and tea time in Sylacauga.
Our cups “ranneth over” with lovely little floral arrangements after a beautiful table settings brunch in Columbiana. In October, Old Country Roses adorned the table with a delicious homemade lunch and in November we tasted wine in the old German town of Cullman, AL.
In December, we gathered to celebrate the birth of Jesus in a home where 10 trees were decorated with collections cherished over a lifetime. Another member shared her collection of ornaments from the White House, causing us to all go home and research how to start our own collection.

The New Year brought in the theme of Winter Whites and Warm Wishes, while we celebrated Valentine’s in Prattville with a sister chapter. The winds of March blew in a delicious meal at the home of a member who insisted on hosting us just weeks after major surgery. That’s just how much we’ve grown to love each other in just 11 short months. As I write this, another member is preparing a theme of April Showers: Daisies Flowers.
